SOIL EXCAVATING PROCESS

CATEGORIES OF SOIL:

I category plot consists of – 90% coarse sand, 10% light loam
II category plot consists of – 60% sand, 40% loam
III-IV category plot consists of – 70% heavy loam/ light loam, 30% sand
V-VI category plot consists of – 90% heavy clay/clay, 10% sand

SOIL EXCAVATING PUMP

is a floating device, which is used for extraction of sandy and gravelly soil from over-flooded industrial pools, dredging the ground of reservoir and other work with the opportunity to transport the excavated soil through pipe channel and displacing it to necessary places or to storage of end product. All aggregates and mechanisms of the dredge are mounted to deck-hold or half-hold based metal body.

THE EXCAVATING PROCESS

is simple. The soil collecting device in the front part is let to the bottom of reservoir, then excavation of ground is taken place. Gettable water and soil mixture (pulp) is being sucked by the dredge, which is used for pumping to displace the mixture from mining spot to gathering point. Gettable mass moves to storage spot and from there further to sediment devices

THE COST

of soil treatment, pumping and storage in this case is lower than in case of mechanized treatment. Usage of this kind of method needs to set up pipe channels, arrange trestles and other structures. Therefore the hydro-mechanized soil treatment is more effective way in case of work that is oriented on large amounts.
